Twingled

Launch Campaign

Twingled was an idea, a product, and an app that could completely revolutionise the dating game. But that’s all it was, an idea – until its creators asked us to help with brand development and launch activity to get it off the ground.

We created a memorable positioning and tone for the brand that conveyed exactly what Twingled was about. And then we brought the proposition to life through a social experiment/hidden camera stunt filmed in Birmingham’s Grand Central.

We collaborated with a social media expert, who used the film as the backbone of an integrated social/PR launch campaign designed to introduce the new dating concept, both to local singles and journalists.

On the same day as filming the stunt, we also conducted a series of Vox Pop-style interviews with passers by – to gauge the public’s perception of the dating scene and the new product. This video formed the basis of a media pack targeted at local journalists and news outlets.
